New generation, new architecture
The iX3 40 sDrive uses a synchronous electric motor installed on the rear axle that develops 235 kW, equivalent to 320 hp, and 500 Nm. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is completed in 5.9 seconds, while the maximum speed is limited to 200 km/h. The 82.6 kWh battery allows an approved range of between 566 and 637 kilometers, depending on the configuration and approval conditions.
800 volts and charging up to 300 kW
One of the main technological changes is in the electrical system. The new iX3 incorporates an 800-volt architecture, allowing rapid direct current charging of up to 300 kW. For alternating current, it supports up to 11 kW. BMW also integrates its new "Heart of Joy" processing system, along with Panoramic Vision and a 17.9-inch central display.
A new benchmark for BMW's electric range in Uruguay
The iX3 40 sDrive Urban is priced at US$ 69,990 in Uruguay. The offer includes seven airbags, advanced driver assistance systems, a panoramic sunroof, BMW Digital Key, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as a three-year or 200,000-kilometer warranty, and eight years or 160,000 kilometers for the battery.
